The Unspoken Ageement

Breathe in. You’re going to tell me. I can see it in your eyes.
But when you do the spell just breaks and all the fragile torment dies.
Replace the lid. Enforce the damn. Lock off the gun. Return to holster.
Like a carriage on the ridge of some enormous roller coaster
Hold it steady. Let the moment teeter on the cusp of never
So your secret, left unspoken, can be stretched and spun forever.
