The Mysterious Missing Spectacles

I’ve lost my specs.
I’ve checked the dresser, in my trench coat, and the pockets of my kecks.
I’ve even looked inside the fridge, as daft as that might sound.
I often look inside the fridge for stuff that can’t be found.
I’ve checked the bog. I’ve checked the bread bin. I have looked round Morecambe Bay.
I lifted up the cat and even checked inside her tray.
They’re not beneath my pillow. I can’t work out where they’ve gone.
Someone’s obviously stolen them. Oh wait. I’ve got them on.
