Under Oceans of Stars

Let’s just walk through the night, under oceans of stars,
Where the tall ships are really just headlights on cars.
Where the treetops are racing yachts caught in the swell,
And their masts are the standing stones lost in the fells,
And the cottages, dim yellow squints through the trees,
Are the submarine creatures that dwell in deep seas.
As the bladderwrack clouds drape the breakwater lanes,
We could drown in this ocean and never complain.
